TPA Training Academy: Practice on 'cost effective' value chains – business and customs aspects

post Monday August 18, 2014

A practical TPA Training Academy session spiced up with case studies

As the global economy shows the first signs of recovery, companies speed up their quest for new strategies. They need to prepare for changing environments. Questions range from public image to levels of centralization; from tax optimization to R&D investment levels and from treasury and funding to IP and intangible assets.

In this knowledge driven economy, strategic decision making requires a smarter, more complete, assessment than we know from traditional ones (e.g. Porter’s value chain). Smarter-Companies provides you with a broader perspective of your company and assesses your (intangible) value drivers, which assure a sustainable future for your organization. Furthermore, business and trading models occur in various forms, but applying an integrated multi-disciplinary approach for a sustainable implementation is often cumbersome. It needs careful project management and full attention of your senior stakeholders. Finally, customs, although directly related to day to day operations need careful planning and preparation and are often underestimated both from a risk and from an opportunity perspective.

This TPA Academy program will use reference cases where TPA Global was able to help its customers on a wide range of these challenges.

The training session will help you:
