In December Amazon introduced its new product, the Amazon Pages. The new service offers entrepreneurs and small companies the opportunity to enter the market, strengthen their market position and expand their market share. The aim of the new service is to provide an easy-to-use and powerful way of design that fits the business’ objectives and marketing goals, according to amazon marketing services
Amazon offers a platform where individuals and small companies can easily advertise their products in a dynamic environment. The new feature has three prefabricated templates which can be personalized by the users to create their own microsites on Amazon. It allows individuals to upload their own photography and even the use of “hero” images. This way, Amazon offers an excellent way for small businesses to advertise their products and a platform to expand their marketing. With its new surface it offers, Amazon found a new way to capitalize its intangibles. Through this initiative Amazon created a win-win situation and it greatly contributes to the development and support of small businesses.
Amazon creates these pages by allowing its users to set up a “custom destination” on Amazon.com. This will direct visitors to the customized page of the users. To further increase the marketing activities Amazon also offers Amazon Posts for companies to advertise themselves across Amazon and Facebook. Amazon Analytics are also introduced which provide a service to measure how well the customized site works.
