Intangibles: The Battle Continues

We are pleased to invite you to our transfer pricing seminar ‘Intangibles and Controversy’. Both areas are among the most important areas of transfer pricing at the moment: The recently published draft of revised OECD guidance on transfer pricing and intangibles shows some important changes in the conceptual framework for intangibles. Only time will tell eventually if these changes actually can be considered improvements. New concepts will provide for new and likely also differing interpretations which will in turn lead to an increase in disputes with tax authorities. Disputes will often involve the appropriate value of the IP. A strategic view on a company’s transfer pricing risk management becomes eminent. For this event we have brought together speakers and panellists from multiple countries and multiple backgrounds, including leading guest speakers on Valuation and Dispute Resolution. The discussions will address the complex issues involved in IP valuations, IP recognition and practical experiences in managing your transfer pricing risks considering all options available. The programme will be interactive and thought provoking as well as pragmatic.
